The Cincinnati Bengals host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon at Paycor Stadium, aiming to stay in contention within a tight division race before Tennessee heads into an open date on its schedule.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern time. The game will air nationally on CBS, featuring play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy, analyst Robert Turbin and sideline reporter Tiffany Blackmon. The broadcast can also be streamed through Paramount+, NFL+ and Fubo, according to regional television listings.
Bengals seek fifth victory behind Burrow
Cincinnati enters the contest with a 4-2 record, attempting to keep up in an AFC North division where every team sits above .500, The Tennessean reported. The Bengals are coming off a 35-13 victory against the Baltimore Ravens, rallying from a 13-point deficit at halftime by scoring 35 unanswered points over the final two quarters.
Quarterback Joe Burrow has powered Cincinnati’s aerial attack through the first six games of the season. According to The Big Lead, Burrow has accumulated 1,653 passing yards, 15 touchdown passes and three interceptions while targeting standout wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
The Bengals face personnel challenges on both sides of the ball. Tight end Erick All Jr. was lost for the remainder of the season following a knee injury suffered in Week 7, The Enquirer reported. Cincinnati will also play without safety Kyle Dugger, who was ruled out for Sunday’s contest.
Titans adjust roster amid difficult start
Tennessee arrives in Cincinnati with a 1-6 record under rookie quarterback Cam Ward. The Titans fell 27-24 to the Cleveland Browns in Week 7, though veteran running back Tony Pollard delivered a bright spot by rushing for 129 yards and scoring three touchdowns, The Big Lead reported.
The Titans will be shorthanded in the passing game on Sunday. Leading rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate has been ruled out because of a shoulder injury, according to team reports cited by The Enquirer. In addition, the defense experienced a major roster change during the week when Tennessee traded defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears.
Odds posted by BetMGM ahead of the weekend favored Cincinnati heavily, listing the Bengals as a minus-750 money line favorite, while the Titans stood at plus-575, according to The Tennessean.
What comes next
Following Sunday’s game, the Titans will enter their bye week before returning home to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Nov. 15. The Bengals will aim to secure their fifth victory of the season as they push for positioning in the competitive AFC playoff field.
