LONDON — The Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans face off Sunday at Wembley Stadium, marking the conclusion of the NFL’s three-game London slate for 2026.
Jacksonville enters the Week 6 contest with a 4-1 record, aiming to extend an early lead in the AFC South standings. The Texans arrive at 1-4, looking to build momentum after securing their first victory of the season last week and acquiring wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., The Sporting News reported.
Kickoff times and broadcast options
Outlets published conflicting kickoff times for Sunday’s matchup. The Sporting News, Billboard and Jaguars Wire reported the game kicks off at 9:30 a.m. EDT, which is 2:30 p.m. local time in Britain. Meanwhile, IndyStar reported the contest would begin at 1 p.m. EDT.
Television coverage will air nationally across the United States on NFL Network. Bob Wischusen is scheduled to handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Louis Riddick, with Molly McGrath reporting from the sidelines, according to Jaguars Wire and The Sporting News. Viewers can also access the broadcast through digital and cord-cutting services, including NFL+, ESPN Unlimited, DirecTV, Fubo, Sling TV and Hulu + Live TV, the outlets reported.
Division rivals meet overseas
This matchup marks Jacksonville’s first divisional showdown of the year, Jaguars Wire reported. The Jaguars remained in London throughout the past week after rallying for a victory against the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during Week 5.
The stay gives Jacksonville an extended acclimation period compared to the Texans, who traveled to England during the week, according to CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco via Jaguars Wire.
“The Jaguars will have been in London for two weeks, which makes this a challenge for the Texans, who went this week,” Prisco told Jaguars Wire, predicting a tight 24-20 victory for Jacksonville.
Prior to kickoff, Billboard reported that R&B singer and former contestant on “The Voice” Jordyn Simone is slated to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner,” while English pop singer Mimi Webb will perform “God Save the King.”
What lies ahead
Following Sunday’s game, both teams return stateside to resume the remainder of their regular season schedules. The outcome will either solidify Jacksonville’s hold atop the AFC South or give Houston a vital path back into divisional contention as the season nears its midpoint.
