Global girl group Katseye postponed scheduled arena concerts in Chicago and Minneapolis on Thursday after performer Megan Skiendiel suffered a concussion, according to announcements from the venues and the musical act.

The group was slated to headline Chicago’s United Center on Thursday evening before traveling to Minneapolis for a performance at the Target Center on Saturday. The announcements arrived just days after an abrupt postponement at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit left crowds waiting outside the arena shortly before showtime.

Injury Halts Wildworld Tour Stops

Initial notices about Thursday’s concert came straight from United Center officials across social media channels, advising ticket holders not to travel toward the venue because doors would remain shut. Representatives for Minneapolis’ Target Center soon followed with a similar update calling off Saturday’s appearance, Billboard reported.

Katseye later clarified the medical reason behind the sudden calendar changes in a joint statement posted to their Instagram Story.

“The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion,” the group stated. “We are incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans. We know how much you’ve been looking forward to these shows, and that many of you have traveled long distances to be there. We don’t take that lightly, and we’re truly sorry for the disappointment.”

The group urged attendees to retain their original tickets and VIP passes, noting that replacement dates for both Midwestern stops will be announced as soon as logistical schedules are finalized. United Center representatives noted that refunds will be offered to buyers unable to attend once replacement dates are established, according to Page Six.

Frustration Follows Last-Minute Detroit Delay

The latest schedule adjustments follow a tense scene earlier this week in Detroit, where Katseye called off a performance at Little Caesars Arena less than an hour ahead of the scheduled start time. News reports gave conflicting accounts of the exact day, with Variety listing Monday and Billboard and Page Six reporting the Detroit show was set for Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Screens inside the Detroit arena flashed notices around 7:30 p.m. alerting ticketholders that the event was called off because Skiendiel was unwell. Concertgoers, some of whom paid thousands of dollars for travel packages and VIP soundcheck experiences, voiced frustration over the minimal notice provided by management. One parent who traveled from Skokie, Illinois, told FOX 2 that families should have received at least 24 hours of advance warning to prevent costly wasted trips.

Roster Changes on the Road

Katseye has been staging their current trek as a four-piece lineup featuring Skiendiel, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj and Yoonchae Jeong. The group’s other two members stepped away from public activities earlier this year.

Manon Bannerman began an open-ended hiatus months ago to focus on personal health and wellbeing, according to Rolling Stone. Fellow member Sophia Laforteza announced a similar mental health break in August, though she recently confirmed plans to rejoin stage activities in January 2027.

Skiendiel had previously suffered health setbacks earlier in the tour cycle, including an ankle sprain that compelled the act to pull out of Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival, Rolling Stone reported.

The extensive Wildworld Tour, promoted by Live Nation, launched in Dublin on Sept. 1 before starting its North American leg on Oct. 13 in Miami. The tour supports their latest release, the “WILD” EP, which topped the Billboard 200 album chart and produced multiple Hot 100 charting singles. It remains unconfirmed when Skiendiel will be cleared to return or whether upcoming tour dates later this month will proceed as planned.
