Jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer married music executive Geoff Ogunlesi on Saturday at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, with Meyer’s former husband, actor Tobey Maguire, serving as the officiant for the oceanfront ceremony.
The nuptials brought together friends and family across an outdoor setting beside the Pacific, where Meyer, 49, wore a strapless white gown with a flowing veil, and Ogunlesi, 34, wore a dark tuxedo, according to reports by Us Weekly and the Daily Mail. Maguire presided over the vows in a suit and tie while holding prepared readings, Page Six reported.
A Star-Studded Guest List and Blended Family
The island gathering drew numerous high-profile attendees, including Maguire’s longtime friend Leonardo DiCaprio alongside model Vittoria Ceretti, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez, actress Courteney Cox, fashion designer Rachel Zoe, and actress Kate Hudson with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, according to Page Six and the Daily Mail.
The ceremony was attended by the couple’s newborn daughter, who was born earlier this year, as well as Meyer’s two children from her marriage to Maguire, daughter Ruby and son Otis. News reports differed slightly regarding the older children’s ages, with Page Six reporting Ruby is 19 and Otis is 17, while Us Weekly listed them as 17 and 15.
Meyer is the founder of an eponymous jewelry label and the daughter of former Universal Studios head Ronald Meyer. Ogunlesi, an Amherst College graduate, is the founder and chief executive officer of The Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management enterprise. He is the son of Nigerian attorney and private equity investor Adebayo Ogunlesi.
Close Co-Parenting Bond Followed Split
The wedding took place mere weeks after Meyer and Maguire completed legal proceedings to end their marital status. The pair originally wed in Kona, Hawaii, in 2007 and publicly separated in October 2016. Meyer filed paperwork to dissolve the marriage in 2020. According to court records cited by Page Six, a judge entered a judgment terminating their marital status on Sept. 21, restoring both individuals to legally single status through a bifurcated proceeding filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Oct. 1.
Meyer and Maguire have often spoken publicly about their commitment to maintaining a positive connection while raising their children. During a May interview with People, Meyer noted that the former spouses make a point of spending major holidays and birthdays together as an extended family, adding that Ogunlesi and Maguire hold mutual respect for each other.
Meyer and Ogunlesi began dating in the summer of 2023, making their first public red-carpet appearance together that November at the Baby2Baby gala. Ogunlesi proposed in August 2024 with a diamond ring, and the couple announced the birth of their infant daughter in June.
Because the divorce judgment between Meyer and Maguire was bifurcated, remaining property and financial matters will be finalized through ongoing proceedings in California court, while the couple has not yet publicly revealed the name of their new baby daughter.
