Kim Kardashian cleared the air with Formula 1 broadcaster Martin Brundle on Sunday, laughing off a past snub during his pre-race grid walk ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.

Kardashian was on the grid at the Marina Bay Circuit to support her boyfriend, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton. When Brundle approached her with his broadcast microphone, Kardashian moved quickly to address their awkward interaction from earlier in the season, according to reports from Motorsport and The Independent.

“Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?” Kardashian asked with a laugh.

Brundle responded that everything was “absolutely fine” before welcoming her to the race and asking for her perspective on the motorsport series. Kardashian answered enthusiastically, telling the broadcaster, “I think it’s amazing and fun and wild and something I’ve never seen before.”

Putting the Monaco Snub Behind Them

The lighthearted exchange came four months after an uncomfortable moment between the two at the Monaco Grand Prix in June. At that event, Brundle attempted to interview Kardashian during his live stroll through the grid, but she declined to speak, leaving the presenter’s questions unanswered as she watched the race preparations.

During their brief conversation in Singapore, Brundle asked Kardashian about Hamilton’s recent momentum and confidence behind the wheel. The British driver had secured second place in Saturday’s sprint race behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

“He is [in great form],” Kardashian said, according to Motorsport. “I’m just praying for the best tonight.” When asked whether Hamilton appeared optimistic, she added, “Yes, very confident, and so am I. Just got to pray for the best.”

Hamilton and Kardashian have made multiple public appearances together across European and international stops throughout the summer, news outlets reported.

Mixed Results on the Track

Hamilton entered Sunday’s night race in a strong position, having qualified third behind teammate Charles Leclerc in second and Verstappen on pole. However, the Grand Prix ended on a mixed note for Ferrari. Verstappen captured the race victory, while Hamilton finished in sixth position, according to Fox News.

The brief interview marked another memorable chapter in Brundle’s long-running live television segment. Brundle, a former Formula 1 driver who now broadcasts for Sky Sports, has earned a reputation for unpredictable and occasionally frosty run-ins with visiting celebrities on active grids.

As The Independent noted, Brundle’s past broadcast walks have included awkward encounters with figures such as Cara Delevingne, Machine Gun Kelly, and talk show host Jimmy Fallon, as well as confrontations with personal security personnel on the tarmac.

Hamilton and Ferrari now turn their attention to the remaining rounds of the Formula 1 season, while Kardashian has established herself as a regular presence in the paddock as she continues to travel with the team.
