KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Taylor Swift traveled across the country Sunday to support her husband, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, watching from an Arrowhead Stadium suite alongside Indiana Fever standout Caitlin Clark and musician Este Haim as the Chiefs faced the Los Angeles Chargers.

Swift and Clark were captured on television cameras chatting, embracing and reacting enthusiastically as Kelce secured a major second-quarter reception over the middle, according to coverage by CBS and the New York Post. Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, was also present in the suite and received a hug from the pop star, Billboard reported.

A Swift Trip From Los Angeles

Swift arrived in Missouri fresh off an appearance Saturday evening in Los Angeles at the Academy Museum Gala, a major fundraising event for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. During that appearance, the 14-time Grammy Award winner delivered a live performance of “The Fate of Ophelia” for the very first time, along with “I Knew It, I Knew You,” an original track featured in the animated Pixar film “Toy Story 5,” Billboard and the New York Post reported. She also revisited classic hits “Blank Space” and “Love Story.”

Reports differed slightly on her game-day wardrobe details in Kansas City. The New York Post described Swift wearing a red turtleneck sweater, while Billboard identified the piece as a bright red Louis Vuitton turtleneck bodysuit matched with dark pants and her trademark red lipstick.

Expanding Bond Between Sports and Music Icons

Clark, who is currently in the WNBA offseason after the Indiana Fever fell to the Las Vegas Aces in the opening round of the postseason, has frequently expressed admiration for Swift and the Chiefs. The two had previously sat together during Kansas City’s January 2025 playoff victory over the Houston Texans, as well as a matchup against the Detroit Lions the previous fall, The Comeback reported.

Speaking to ESPN about her relationship with Swift following an earlier game, Clark reflected on their interactions away from public scrutiny:

“I think what people don’t always realize about people with a certain spotlight, whether it’s her, whether it’s me, whether it’s another professional athlete or a pop star, we’re real people,” Clark said. “We’re just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night.”

Clark added that Swift “loves the Chiefs just as much as I do. I’m talking football with her.”

Busy Autumn Schedules

Swift and Kelce were married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City after an engagement that lasted nearly a full year, the New York Post reported. Swift has juggled appearances at Chiefs home games between high-profile entertainment obligations this fall.

While she was on hand for earlier home victories over the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts, she missed a road contest against the Miami Dolphins to accept Video of the Year honors at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 27. She also bypassed Kansas City’s divisional clash against the Las Vegas Raiders to stage a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” the Post noted.

Meanwhile, Swift’s album “The Life of a Showgirl” returned to the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week following the release of a deluxe expanded version featuring four fresh tracks, according to Billboard. Neither the Chiefs nor Swift’s representatives have stated whether she intends to be in attendance for Kansas City’s upcoming road games.
